Life’s clarity through new lenses..

I turned 50 over 7 years ago. I feel the healthiest I have been in years. My eyesight, for reading, is suspect. Might as well turn lemons into lemonade: Reading glasses are now fashionable and functional to me. I figure if they are going to be hangin’ on my face I might as well “look better”. I’ve also made conscious choices to ride my bike, go to the gym, walk daily, and do other physical activities. However, that’s not what’s defining me now. (Yes, mirror, I’m referencing you, again. though, I do respect your reflection.)

Many months ago, I had a meeting with an industry friend. We were at the same event, and he had a great idea. He was excited to tell me about it. We never really could connect because I was on the microphone for hours upon hours. The next day I was leaving the hotel to commentate and saw that he was eating breakfast. I walked up and said, “You’ve got 5 minutes, elevator pitch, GO!”. He took that 5 minutes and convinced ME that I needed “it”. I now look back at that 5 minutes and reflect. Could I give ANYONE a 5-minute pitch on who I was and what I was offering?Who am I? What was holding me back and keeping me stuck? Here’s 5 ways I decide to attack the question.

  1. Are we/ I avoiding challenges in life, training, and wellness?

  2. Does my past dictate/predict my future? It does and I will explain why.

  3. Why do I feel trapped and not able to move forward? I lost control, how do I gain it back?

  4. Do I/you feel self-compassion?

  5. Glasses looking into a mirror. Clarity on the reflection. Being blessed in what you have and how to manifest it.

In the next couple of weeks, I’m going to dive into how these 5 things can help you personally, professionally, and in your training/wellness/exercise.

New glasses. New look. New perception. New me.

When this series is over we will be offering a FREE seminar to review these topics!
