HOME STRETCH. One of my last gigs of the season

The end is near and I commentated the Tour of the Town criterium that benefits the Raisin Hope Foundation. Pretty nice idea put on by Ascent Productions. It was amazing weather in Dalton Georgia for sure and the racing, though the season was at the twilight was in pretty frenzied state.

It was time for the Mens Pro race and I had a tag team duo to work with. (Well, Saul actually bailed and spent time with his family, but Nathan O'neill was steadfast and hung in with me for the duration.

The  racing hotted up quickly when John (I don't feel so well) Murphy and a few others decided to blow the race apart. The split the field and it was a race to see if the 7 guys would lap the field. Some local and regional hitters/guys along with some of my old friends proceeded to hit the throddle. Several tried to get away after lapping the field...but not to be. Murph was too strong on the day and won.

It's off to Hincapie Race Weekend and Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships.....
