Chad Andrews is the President and Founder of TotalCyclist: Charlotte, NC. Chad is a USA Cycling Level 1 coach and professional race commentator. Chad envisioned the concept of developing an all-in-one training center for cyclists in the early 90’s.
The idea morphed from many different concepts and finally the Training Center vision was made a reality. His background includes interpersonal, public speaking and a speech communication degree from UNC Wilmington. He also apprenticed under Dr. William Riner and his Exercise Science Lab at USC Lancaster. Chad uses unique motivational, scientific and holistic approaches to achieve a high level of success with his athletes. He has coached athletes of all levels, abilities and disciplines. Chad still finds some time to mix it up with Road/Mtn and Cyclocross racing whenever his Cat 2 license hasn't expired. When Chad is not running the business you can find him Race Commentating at major bicycle races throughout the country, riding his bike, playing with his kids or passed out on the couch.
